The Biggest Lesson Law School Never Taught Me
I don’t think we talk enough about how much the people around us shape us. Looking back, I don’t regret the internships I didn’t get or the opportunities I missed. I regret the time I spent trying to fit into circles where I constantly felt the need to shrink myself. The right people don’t just celebrate your achievements. They celebrate your attempts. They don’t make you feel “too much” for caring, trying, building, or dreaming. If you’re about to start college, here’s something I wish someone had told me: Your circle is a decision. Choose it carefully.
